Dr. Michelle Mon Désir has been practicing medicine for over 20 years and she is dedicated to providing her patients with the best possible care. She has worked in the Cayman Islands for over 13 years. In 2013, she in association with CTMH Doctor’s Hospital opened West Bay Medical Clinic which she took over in 2016 and re-named Oasis Medical Group. Being a resident of West Bay herself, Dr. Mon Desir is committed to the residents of West Bay providing a true medical oasis for the community.

Dr Mon Desir obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, Trinidad and she has practiced medicine in the Bahamas, Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago.

As an extension of her passion for women’s health Dr. Mon Desir is a supporter of The Lions’ Club of Tropical Gardens and the Breast Cancer Foundation and regularly participates in their annual breast cancer awareness drive. She is a past Chair of the Health Practice Commission in the Cayman Islands and is a member of the North American Menopause Society (NAMS).

Dr. Mon Désir’s practice accommodates all types of illness and injuries as well as annual and work permit medicals. She also has a special interest in preventive medicine, women’s health, weight loss management and menopause.
